I love preparing this salmon. It’s simple, beautiful and takes 20 minutes total with cooking. I grind the chips in the food processor or sometimes I just put the chips in a ziplock bag and then use my meat pounder and take a few wacks at it. Either way gets the job done. The salmon is initially roastedย with olive oil, salt and pepper and then you cover withย mustard and the chips. This is definitely one of those recipes where the sum is greater than the parts. The salmon can be served warm or at room temperature.

Rub salmon with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper or lemon pepper for a little added flavor

Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Grind chips in food processor ( see pictures above) and set aside
- Rub salmon with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Remove from oven, cover with mustard and chips and then return to oven for another 4 minutes
- Serve warm or at room temperature

This was super easy to make, tastes delicious, and looks impressive.
I’ve made similar recipes using this idea. I add wheat germ to panko crumbs or ground nuts (your choice) and it comes out delicious!
I like adding wheat germ to most any crumb recipe–no one in my family knows they’re eating healthy!
Always nice to sneak in healthy food ๐
This salmon was a hit with my entire family! Kids and adults alike. And so pretty! I will definitely be making again!
I made this salmon last week and we really enjoyed it . Problem was when I refrigerated the leftovers and tried to serve it the next day, the chips were a bit soggy ๐
im a little behind on my Kitchen Coup recipes- tried this one for dinner last week- my two year olds devoured it (and helped “crumble” the chips) I also served as an appetizer this weekend- crowd loved it!
so happy to hear Shana!

I wish I could respond in hebrew but it would take me forever to type! I’m so happy you are using my recipes. I wish you could have come to LA when you were traveling all over the USA.
