I really enjoy making yeast dough. Watching flour, water and yeast turn into a fluffy, satisfying bread or cake sparks my inner need to create. This Chocolate Buns recipe uses a simple yeast dough and a very chocolaty filling. Think of these as cinnamon buns but with chocolate minus the cream cheese frosting. If you don’t like your desserts overly sweet this recipe is for you. These are a crowd favorite. You can easily freeze these and warm them up to give them a “just from the oven” taste.

How much water should be mixed with the yeast? And what is the almond milk for?
Hi Fay – sorry I updated the recipe. I meant to write almond milk instead of water. You mix the almond milk with the yeast and there is no water in the recipe
