The bowl of apples on my counter was overflowing and it was not a small bowl. I wanted to cook something that would last for a while so I decided to create this Sea Salt Apple Butter. It’s sweet and tart and just a bit salty. Apple butter is essentially super concentrated apple sauce that is slightly caramelized so it develops a deep flavor. It’s great for spreading on toast with butter or adding to a pastry with some cream cheese filling. The possibilities are endless and it lasts for a long time in the refrigerator
